Welcome to cheflinx. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website cheflinx.com and the kitchen operations software platform operated by MINDSLIFT Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Platform
Eligibility
You must be a professional kitchen operator, enterprise establishment, or verified freelance culinary professional to maintain an active account.
Account Security
You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and tracking all operational changes made within your workspace.
2. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Material
Your Content
You retain full ownership, copyrights, and intellectual property rights over all specific recipes, financial margins, and inventory data sheets you upload into your dashboard.
Our Platform
The structural code, UI layout designs, automated costing logic, algorithms, branding, and imagery generated within cheflinx remain the exclusive intellectual property of MINDSLIFT Inc.
3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing
Billing Cycles
Access to advanced scaling engines, supplier automation tools, and gig board capabilities may require a paid subscription. Billing is initiated and authorized securely through our third-party provider, Stripe.
Cancellation Policy
Users may cancel active subscriptions directly through their account settings page at any time.
4. On-Demand Labor & Gig Board Disclaimer
The platform includes an automated marketplace linking independent freelance cooks to open restaurant shifts.
MINDSLIFT Inc. acts strictly as an administrative software bridge facilitating connection; we do not employ, vet, or command the independent contractors posting on the gig board. Business owners assume all operational responsibility when booking third-party kitchen coverage.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MINDSLIFT Inc. shall not be held liable for food safety disruptions, inventory cost inaccuracies resulting from external vendor marketplace fluctuations, financial loss from miscalculated batch sheets, or operational issues resulting from shift-cover contractors. The software tool is provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" operational basis.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and any operational disputes stemming from your use of the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
